About Our Clinic
We at the UCSD Anxiety & Traumatic Stress Disorders Research Program are a
group of University- and VA-affiliated clinicians and researchers
in psychiatry, psychology, and related disciplines interested in understanding the nature and etiology of anxiety disorders and their treatment. At any point in time, we generally have a number of
clinical research studies running that require participants (with and
without anxiety disorders). Some of these studies involve treatment, others
involve completing questionnaires, giving a blood sample, or participating in a neuroimaging study (such as a functional magnetic resonance imaging
scan). Studies are funded by the federal government (including the National
Institutes of Health), by private foundations, and by various
pharmaceutical companies. Please contact us at
1-877-UCSD-SHY if you would like additional information about our work and any of the studies we are conducting.
